Bouclème's moisturising gel smoothes and defines curls without flaking or stickiness. The gel dries hard, creating a cast around the curls.
Scrunch to release the cast, curls are left shiny, super soft, and bouncy.
For all-day frizz control and incredible curl definition.

I do like this product, it's better value than a lot of others, i can't get more than 2 days out of though but it's very moisturising, highly recoment to finer haired people- only use a £2 size of this on dripping wet hair for best results

The consistency of this product is quite weird. It is very watery and it doesn't seem like it would slick hair down. I usually do a slick bun with eco styler gel and that works really well. This product works well but it takes a little while to dry and then dries hard. It doesn't let me shape my hair as well but I am really surprised by the hold it has. Eco styler is still my fave but this is the healthier option for hair I guess.

I've recently started the Curly Girl Method and was looking for a suitable gel. This one is CG friendly, gives a nice cast and scrunches out very easily. Nice and light on my low-porosity, protein-hating hair too!
Not super cheap but goes a long way!

Smells great, light hold and is the perfect finish to styling my curls.

Didn't really do much.

Lovely smell and very easy to apply. Its a massive bottle for the price too.
It leaves hair soft so it does appear to be moisturising, but there is a hard cast, my hair goes completely crispy but it scrunches out very easily. I would say it has a light hold, deffo not strong, and this is why I took a star off the rating. I wet my hands and scrunch the next day and it works fine.

I am constantly searching for the holy grail of hair products which will truly manage my 3c type hair.
I have tried them all from the uber expensive lines to the mundane and ordinary.
There is a couple of provisos now after years of tried and tested products for my naturally curly hair. The cleaner and more organic the product the better results. I Love Jessicul products - Again brilliant formula from someone who has and who has struggled with curly hair.
This wonderful product says it all all on the bottle at first glance- 0% silcones , sulphates or parabens...a real treat for us curly blessed.
A blow dry- no problem to counteract the frizzies and leaves behind a shining glory- just make sure you keep your mitts of your tresses until almost dry. A great product obviously engineered by those who truly understands the mystery and admittedly frustration of naturally curly hair.

Amazing gel. I have 2c/3a hair that is fairly frizzy. This gel gives me good medium hold that encourages my curls clump. Scrunches out to leave soft, bouncy curls. Good second day hair - not too much build up. A real find. (I used to love mop top gel and find this very similar - only better!).

Unfortunately this product didn't really work for me. I was using Kinky Curly custard and that worked really great leaving my curls super defined. But with this one, my curls are very fragile and break with nothing. So maybe it's just not for my hair

Amazing gel. Maybe the best I've ever tried. I have below shoulder length wavy/curly/puffy/frizzy hair. I didn't need much at all - with a 10p coin worth of gel, I didn't get a hard cast, only frizz free, touchable curls. I applied on clean, dripping wet hair. I then combed, removed excess water, added a tiny bit more on the problem areas, and let it dry naturally. I imagine that for curlier hair than mine one could double the amount.

I have (lots of!) fine very curly hair (never understood the different curl types). I have been using Jessicurl Spiralicious which I also really love, but read good things about this and wanted to try it. It's just lovely! My hair is left frizz-free, lovely soft curls, and it smells lovely. You don't need an awful lot either, even for my mop! Will definitely buy again.

I have been on a mission to find a good gel after Frizz Eaze discontinued thiers, which I had used for years. I used the whole range and have left reviews for the other products too. It is expensive but I like the branding, smell and quality of product.
At first I was sceptical as it is quite thin and felt after I had put it on that my hair that it wouldn't provide enough hold. How wrong I was. It dried to form a cast on my curls which then softened down and held them nicely, eliminating frizz. I have a lot of hair which is prone to frizziness so I need a gel to form a cast because if not my hair rebels. The thin consistency also aided it distributing it and in reality i have always hated thick gloopy gels. I have been using ecostyler, which I also like but feel it takes forever for my hair to dry. This dried much quicker. The makers suggest using it on its own (like I did) or leaving on the conditioner if your hair is courser.

Great product with good hold, which I use over Curl Keeper or Rockin Ringlets.

Previously used and completely love Mop Top medium hold hair gel but have been unable to get it in the uk for a couple of years since BC stopped selling it and it doesn't ship out of US. Have been looking for a similar product ever since and had no luck until now! This gel is fab. Need to use a lot more of it on my hair to get similar results to the Mop Top gel but this is firmly my new favourite product. I just hope that BC don't stop selling this one too as seem to be out of stock atm and every time I find a product I love they soon stop selling it! Please BC keep selling this and bring back Mop Top products to the uk.

I have been using this gel for a while now and am really liking it. It gives me good definition and its not too a hard hold - it scrunches out easily. Good value also. Its easy to distribute too. I also if I need rub a little in my palms and add to dry hair on day 2+ hair. I have 3a hair quite fine. Worth buying!

This is by far the best gel I have used. My hair is tight corkscrew and prone to frizz. This gel holds my curls and is also great on windy and humid days. The smell is so good. A friend who has looser curls tried it and had great results too.
