It is very hydrating and smelled so good I got harassed. It's not the best for de-tangling but it was fine.

Used as a deep conditioning mask, left it on with a cap for about an hour before rinsing out. My 4c hair felt noticeably softer after and I had one of the easiest detangling sessions after that I can recall. Make it a point to try varying brands with different price points! You may find some cheaper alternatives which work well such as this one

I so want to like this product because it smells gorgeous and is well priced. But sadly it doesn't suit my hair AT ALL. It left it very dry indeed and it took a week or so of using normal conditioners to get it back to normal. I have tried twice and also as a normal conditioner which was also a disaster as it didn't detangle or provide slip. I don't understand why. I have 2c wavy curly hair which is coloured grey, fine and porous.

This mask does a very good job of moisturising my hair . It smells lovely too which is always a bonus. It is not my all time favourite mask, (Curl Junkie's masks were my favourite ) but for the price it does do a great job. I usually leave it on all night then style the next day with Cantu's curl activator followed by the gel and my hair looks amazing. You just can't go wrong with these products: they are simply wonderful.

This is the first deep conditioner I have bought for my hair and I do really like it.
My only tip would be not to use near roots (especially round fringe area) as it does make the hair dry a little greasy.
It smells absolutely amazing & does keep your hair smelling that good all day.

This Cantu product is incredible. I first used it as a leave in conditioner (as it says can be done in the instructions) and my hair has never felt so hydrated from a leave in. I tried it as a deep conditioner yesterday. Although it's not the best for detangling, it is so hydrating, with a nice thick/creamy consistency and smells awesome too!

All is said in the title I guess, I have been learning how to manage my hair (3b) for about 2 years now and have been trying various more exensive brand but this is the best one by far. My sister who's between 2C and 3A but flat iron her hair on a daily basis integrated it in her routine and this became a staple of her as well. It only contain moisturizing ingredients. Long story short, very good for dry hair.
