I was a bit worried about this product as I'd read reviews on other websites saying it was flaky, but I have not experienced any flaking at all. it is thick and gloopy product has a sort of sweet tropical smell. The hold is strong which is what I like. I get really good definition with this and good clumps on my thick 3a hair. I gave it 4 stars cos I find it a bit heavy like it weighs my hair down a bit but not so badly I wouldn't use it. When using this product I got a fair few compliments too which is always a good sign. Anyway it is really really good for the price so would recommend trying!

I have 4c natural hair, I bought this product with the intention of using it for twist outs and flat twists. I used it with coconut oil underneath which I always do with my other stylers but this product didn't react well at all. Once my hair had dried it was so flaky and I didn't even use a lot of product, my hair was so visible it only lasted 2days because I couldn't bare the stares. I wouldn't repurchase and I wouldn't recommend.

Since British Curlies doesn't stock Curl Junkie anymore I've had to find new products. I was very worried I wouldn't find anything as good but I'm glad to report that not only are Cantu hair products A. MA. ZING they are a lot cheaper too so this whole situation has been a blessing in disguise!
I use this product with the Curl activator and the result is simply gorgeous : shiny, bouncy, defined curls. I love the combination. It can dry very crunchy but I love that because it means the hold is great. All I do is crunch the crunch out and my hair looks fantastic.

I use this in conjunction with a curl cream and it adds a really nice shine and finish to my curls. I tried it on its own and by day 2 my curls were starting to lose definition, but as long as it's used with another product it works well. It has a kind of fruity / coconut smell which seems a little strong initially but is subtle once on and your hair dries.
