    1. I like it star rating

Posted by Samantha O. on 14th Apr 2017

This product works pretty well both when left in and when rinsed out. My hair feels soft and moisturised and looks shiny after I use it. This product also smells pretty good!

    2. Best conditioner ever!!!! star rating

Posted by Adela Pihoc on 10th Nov 2016

This conditioner is the most amazing hair product I ever put in my hair, and I have tried many!!! Before this, I never thought my curls could be soft and bouncy and untangled and just beautiful, like I always saw in other curly girls.
And on top of all, it's cruelty-free and supports other people. I love it!!!!

For a very long time i've been using this product the wrong way and kept thinking it was just a very light conditioner not giving enough moisture however ever since I've started using it as a leave in I get great results. I condition with a very think conditioner first, then shampoo my hair, deep condition for about 5-10 mins with the hibiscus conditioner and finally scrunch the hibiscus conditioner in my hair. Great result + i still have good second hair day. Perfect conditioner for thin and wavy hair that don't need too much moisture, it won't weight down the hair!!

This conditioner has very good slip, smells great and left my curls very shiny and well defined.

    5. Nice conditioner star rating

It smells lovely and helps to entangle my curly hair (I think it's a 3b/3c). To be honest it's not the softest conditioner I've tried but I like it, it does a good job.

    6. Lovely as a leave in conditioner star rating

This is fab as a leave in conditioner.

    7. Disappointing star rating

Posted by Zara on 10th Jan 2016

Spent £50 on shea moisture products because of the great reviews. I was incredibly disappointed. For this product, it is not thick and creamy enough for my hair texture so it does not create enough slip. Therefore, I feel the need to pump lots out to even have enough slip in my hair for detangling, and its also really hard to pump out product. Personally wouldn't buy it again. I don't even like the scent too much either.

Decided to try this conditioner as I really enjoy using Shea Moisture products...well this one didn't disappoint! This makes my hair feel so soft and my curls really pop! Love it

    9. Nice product. star rating

Posted by Vanessa Hughes on 28th Jul 2015

I really like this. I like their other conditioners too but the ones I have tried were too thick and once the container is half empty it is a battle to get any thing out. This being a thinner product is a little less frustrating but the pump that still lost it one star.
It smells nice and gives my hair good condition and slip. I have 2c curly wavy hair that is coloured (grey) and fine. I seem to have to condition my hair everyday in the shower (I use this product instead of shampoo and every day usually.) When I wake up my hair is a frizzy, semi straight mess, even if I use a satin pillow or cap so I have to wet it and condition in the shower. Then I usually add a little more conditioner or oil whilst it is still very wet and a product like Curl Keeper, then scrunch in a microfibre towel.

Top product for my 3a/b hair. Is a very, very good, lightweight conditioner.

This conditionner is absolutely beautiful : it is very lightweight yet detangles and moisturises my 3b hair easily. It also leaves it incredibly soft and smells lovely. What more can a curly haired girl ask for? ;-)

    12. Not for me... star rating

      Posted by ellabeauty_78 on 25th Mar 2015

I have accepted that the Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus range does not like my 4b/c hair. It's a shame cause I read really good reviews on these products and brought the whole range! The conditioner is just a conditioner, I find I have to use a lot on each section. I prefer Treseme naturals and it's a lot cheaper!! Such a shame I had high hopes for these natural products.

    13. Sweet fragrance, not too heavy star rating

Posted by Claire on 24th Dec 2014

I like that this has a pump dispenser. Like the shampoo in the same line, this has a yummy sweet fragrance. My hair is fine and wavy but I found that the conditioner didn't weigh it down - I even add a little to the ends and mid lengths as a leave in after rinsing. My hair is soft and shiny. I might switch to a lighter (and hopefully cheaper) product in the Summer but I think my hair needs the extra moisture right now

Great conditioner taht really works. There is an immediate improvement in teh softness of my daughter's hair and how easily her hair untabgles as it is combed.
Also my daughter is allergic to many conditioners and has no problems, at all, with this product.
      And, it smells heavingly.
      I love it!

Now I have tried so many different conditioners but this one has alot of positives. Most ingridients are natural. It smells lovely. It moisturises quite well. The only con about it is that it doesnt have that much slip for me to be able to detangle my hair in a hurry lol. It could be the lak of sillicones which really intrully is a plus. I do notice curl formation when applying it but find it a bit hard to detangle. This is the only reason i am giving it a 4* rating.

My wavy curly hair just loves it. It softens, detangles and smells amazing. Will definitely repurchase from the brand again.

I only just started leaning about natural hair this year and this was my first purchase of a product meant for my hair and I am so happy with the result. My hair is usually dry, dry dry and damaged from heat, careless brushing and general lack of good care. When I used this for the first time, my hair came out soft, healthy looking and nice-smelling and it was so hard for me to keep my hands out of it. I used the Coconut Hibiscus Curl Enhanching Smoothie along with the Style Milk for a twist out afterwards and I have never had a better or healthier looking twist-out result. I'm definitely going to try more of their products!

Bought this for the amazing ingredients and good reviews. It's not a bad conditioner, but it's not very good either. I have 2b fine blonde waves/curls. It leaves my hair quite weighed down and dull, rather than shiny and bouncy. It didn't feel very clean. Towards the ends of my hair it even felt a bit drier than normal. This is my experience with it as a rinse out conditioner. I will try it as a leave in and see if that's any different, but I can't see why it would be.

Best conditioner i've tried yet. Smells fab and adds great curl definition.
Would definitely recommend finger combing this conditoner through your hair whilst in the shower not brushing. You'll be amazed at the curls you get when your hair is dry!!

    21. Makes my hair shiny and gourgeous! star rating

Posted by Unknown on 6th Dec 2013

I have blond scandinavian wavy to curly hair. More curls in the summer and only waves when it is -20 celsius in the winter. This conditioner makes my hair very shiny and just so beautiful. I got a lot of comments on my hair since using this only a week. I like the smell. Sweet, but not too sweet coconut smell. The reason for only four stars is that it has less slip then I want too, but I am getting use to it for the great result. Will buy again!

    22. OK star rating

Posted by ZoeB on 4th Dec 2013

I think this conditioner is ok. I actually purchased it by mistake and didn't want to return it. I use it as a leave in and don't wash it out. It has a lovely smell though and its got the Shea Moisture guarantee of wonderful ingredients so its ok.

    23. works better the longer its left on star rating

Posted by Yella on 20th Nov 2013

I have been using this for a few days now, either with the co wash ( don't know if it's really needed) and with shampoo.
its quite a weird conditioner in that it doesn't seem to have much slip but does leave my hair feeling soft and moisturised. Although its an instant conditioner it does work better the longer its left on ( I think it does suggest 5 minutes) it's quite good value for money as not too much is needed and I will definitely repurchase again, I am only giving it 4 stars as I do like a little more slip with my conditioners
