I love this, after experimenting with it, 5 pumps is the sweet spot for it on my hair, on try hair, I section in 4 quadrants, and apply a pump to each rubbing in my hands first, then a final pump on the ends, I then wet it slightly and rub it in more, I doesn't lather, but I cleans better than any other I've tried, just takes a while to get used to! Been using the clay-wash for the past 2 months as my go to hair wash and all I can say is it is the BEST! So easy to use , smells incredible and cleans and refreshes my curls with ease. What makes this 5 stars for me is that since switching to Trepadora I have had much less shedding than I used to which is HUGE! I love this product. Would never be without it now. Thank you!

the pink clay wash doesnt work for my hair anymore. it cleansed my hair well when i first began using it and didnt strip or dry my hair. the last few months, with nothing changed in my routine, the pink clay wash leaves my hair feeling greasy, tacky and dirty. i went to spring hair salon in birmingham today and had my hair thoroughly washed by one of the ladies there and still my hair was lank, dirty and tacky feeling. matt then washed my hair himself with a shampoo from another brand and a tiny amount of the clay wash and my hair was literally squeaky clean afterwards. im not sure what went wrong with the clay wash, but hopefully if i mix a small amount with my shea moisture shampoo it will clean my hair and give the moisture that i need too.

Left my scalp itchy so I had to wash with another product a few days later. Will try again by just putting on the ends and diluted shampoo on the scalp to see how it works.

the instructions say to use this on dry hair. i have used it on both wet and dry hair and found better results on wet hair, it seemed to cleanse my scalp better. i used this with a denman "be-bop" brush on my scalp and really work it into my scalp (gently) and then down through to the ends of my hair using my hands. it somehow makes my hair feel... nourished? and also thicker. im not sure if i would be able to use this as my only cleanser forever as im not sure if it will remove all build-up completely so i may have to use a shampoo every now and again. but for now im using this and the coconut conditioner as a co-wash and its working wonderfully, my curls (3b) look amazing. very tight, springy and shiny.
